Relics of the Mexican Martyrs

The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart is honored to welcome the relics of the Mexican Martyrs for a special weekend of prayer, veneration, and reflection.

These heroic witnesses of the faith gave their lives for Christ during the religious persecution in Mexico in the early twentieth century. Their courage, fidelity, and unwavering devotion continue to inspire Catholics throughout the world.

Visitors are invited to spend time in prayer before the relics, learn more about the lives of these holy martyrs, and seek their intercession for the needs of the Church, our families, and our world.
