Friday of the Fourth Week of Lent

Readings:

  • First Reading: Wisdom 2:1a, 12–22

  • Psalm: 34(33):17–18, 19–20, 21, 23

  • Gospel: John 7:1–2, 10, 25–30

Reflection
The Book of Wisdom describes how the wicked conspire against the righteous, failing to see that their behavior leads to ruin. In the Gospel, some doubt Jesus and look for reasons to reject Him. Sometimes we prefer to remain in darkness rather than face the truth of Christ. In which areas of your life do you struggle to accept the truth Jesus offers? Let His light dispel all confusion and fear, so you can grow in freedom and faith.
