Reflection
Jeremiah is threatened, and his suffering anticipates Christ’s own. In the Gospel, people are divided about Jesus’ identity; some believe, others doubt or reject Him. Faith in Jesus always demands a personal response: either recognizing Him as God’s Anointed or letting our prejudices drive us away. This Lent, examine your attitudes and ask the Holy Spirit for humility to receive Jesus as Lord, even when you don’t understand everything.
